Supreme Court verdict on CBSE 2020 remaining exams cancellation

On June 25, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) decided to cancel pending CBSE board exams of Class 12. Further, the Supreme Court of India asked CBSE to present an assessment scheme that clarifies certain points including CBSE result 2020 date. On June 26, CBSE presented its new assessment scheme to the honorable Supreme Court and the court approved it immediately. Now, the marks for canceled exams are to be awarded to the students as per their performance in CBSE board exams conducted in March 2020.

CBSE Marking Scheme for Cancelled Exams

If a student has appeared for more than 3 examinations, then the average marks of the best three subjects will be given in the other subjects and CBSE result 2020 Class 10 will be declared accordingly.
If a student has appeared in 3 subjects only, then, the average marks of the best two subjects will be given in the other subjects.
CBSE result 2020 for Class 12 for these students will be announced by the 15th of July. Based on the following factors; performance in exams they have taken, internal assessment, practical or project work the final result will be declared.
